Made from natural kudu horn by Barsheshet – Ribak, this shofar has a black colored mouthpiece and light brown elongated body. The antelope horn’s natural features are vivid along the shofar and make it a traditional and lovely shofar. The shofar comes with a Kashrut sticker, declaring the shofar as kosher according to Halacha. The above pictured kashrut certificate is the factory's certification.
The Yemenite kudu horn shofar is natural and traditionally used on the Jewish holidays: Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, to welcome the New Year and mark the end of fasting. This shofar was made by the talented Barsheshet-Ribak families, who started their work and tradition back in the 14th century. The Bar-Sheshet family started the tradition in Spain, while Ribak family began in Poland. Both families joined hands in Israel and their sons continue the magnificent crafting work till today.
The shofar is crafted in Israel under Kosher supervision and it comes with a Kashrut certificate, declaring the shofar as kosher.
