Mezuzah in Anodized Aluminum Silver Vertical Track by Adi Sidler

Description

The Biblical source of the mitzvah of mezuzah is found in the Torah in the book of Deuteronomy. It is written: "And you shall write them on the entryways of your dwellings and your gates". A mezuzah is a small box or case housing a mezuzah scroll and is affixed to the doorway. The mezuzah scroll is the most important part of a mezuzah, as it contains the blessings. This silver-colored anodized aluminum Mezuzah features two tracks running vertically down the left side and contains a compartment for a small sized parchment scroll. The Mezuzah can hold a parchment scroll. This Mezuzah has brushed surfaces that give it a contemporary look and protect it from the elements. The hanging of a Mezuzah is a positive commandment that is mentioned in the Torah and is also the simplest way to identify a house as being owned by a Jew as the Mezuzah sits prominently on the interior and exterior doorposts of a house. The Mezuzah is mentioned in the Torah in several places, but appears specifically in the Books of Exodus and Deuteronomy.
