The disc is embossed with the Kabbalah supplication: "Hashem yiftach lecha et otzro hatov" which means, "May Hashem open his good treasure for you". One of the 72 divine names of Hashem, "Samech, Aleph, Lamed", is inscribed in the center. The meaning is spiritual and material prosperity and a virtue for success and good luck in business. Hashem is said to have 72 divine names formed from 3 verses in Sefer Shmot. The ancient Kabbalist Rav Shimon bar Yochai wrote in the Zohar that it was Moses, not God, who parted the Red Sea, allowing the Israelites to narrowly escape Pharaoh and the Egyptian army. In order to accomplish this miracle, Moses combined the power of certainty with a very powerful spiritual technology. He had possession of a formula that literally gave him access to the subatomic realm of nature. Onyx stands for the tribe of Yosef and enhances self-control, strengthens the individual's physical strength, balances the energies in the body and neutralizes fears and negativity. The Magen David is the most prominent symbol in Judaism, appearing on most Jewish items.
This would make a sentimental gift for any occasion.
